About the Salon

In August 2013, Joe and Rachel Vogel set out on a journey, a labor of love, to transform a former cake shop in the heart of Denver’s Santa Fe Art District into Denver’s newest premiere hair salon, a confluence of style and creativity. After four challenging months of blood, sweat and tears, Joe and Rachel bring you Salon Eighty Five.

Our goal is to make you look and feel your best, which is why we use Phyto, an almost entirely organic, paraben-free line of hair-care products created with the finest botanical ingredients. Our stylists actively pursue continuing education to augment their skills with the latest techniques and styles, and because we are located Denver’s dynamic Santa Fe Art District, we feature various local artists throughout the year, creating an ambiance of modern Denver style that is the Salon Eighty Five experience.
