Owner, Rachel Vogel trained at Antoine Du Chez and has been in the hair and fashion industry, creating wearable art, for the last 9 years. With the help and support of her wonderful husband, she was able to make her dreams come true and open Salon Eighty Five.

Rebecca is a hairstylist and Redken color specialist who has been in the hair business for well over a decade. She closely works with each client so your vision becomes reality. Rebecca loves color. In July 2016 she was invited to the Redken exchange in NYC, the company’s top educational facility in the US, and had a full day training on the latest color trends. Rebecca is a Colorado native and loves everything this beautiful state has to offer. She loves to run Sloan’s Lake with her dog, hikes, does yoga and likes to get down to the expansive live music scene in Denver. She looks forward to seeing you in her chair.

Working at a salon and seeing the energy and beauty involved sealed the deal for Kim’s future. “I love being able to help people look and feel their best everyday. Whether it’s a small enhancement or a total makeover, every service is rewarding. I look forward to every opportunity.”

Having been a Hairstylist for over 15 years, Misty has a widely developed skill set in hair color and cutting. She has always had a passion for creating beauty and style. Misty is consistently furthering her education to broaden her knowledge as well as stay current in trends.

For over 10 years Misty worked as an educator for Redken traveling throughout the United States alongside well-renowned industry artists. She has worked with Redkens National Design team first hand in Industry fashion shows which is challenging and rewarding!

Misty has been a Certified Great Lengths Extensionist for 13 years and also specializes in The Hair Shop extensions. She is a Redken Master Colorist and Designer. GK and Keratin Express are her smoothing treatments of choice, with many different options for working with all types of hair textures. Having naturally curly hair herself, she knows first hand how to work best with it.

She prides herself on being a “long hair specialist” but enjoys doing all lengths of men’s and women’s hair. Coloring, balayage, and finishing are the most motivating for her, whether it’s just a simple blow-out or a specialty style. Clients frequently see her just for that!

When she’s not busy making Denver more beautiful, Misty loves to be outdoors. Paddle boarding, hiking and golf in the favorites list. Along with her husband, Mike, their son Miles and 2 dogs, you can find them out enjoying the Colorado sunshine!
